Sabrina Carpenter Howls With Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon & John Taylor At BST Hyde Park

Sabrina Carpenter played her biggest shows yet in London over the past two nights at London’s BST Hyde Park. The pop princess thrilled fans on Sunday by welcoming members of Duran Duran for a surprise performance of their hit song “Hungry Like The Wolf.”

After having fans practice howling at the moon, Sabrina Carpenter introduced Duran Duran vocalist Simon Le Bon and bassist John Taylor. “I also thought it might be fun if I brought out some friends of mine from the U.K.,” Carpenter told the crowd. “I’m going to need you guys to put that howling to good use. But everybody please give it up and make so much noise for the legendary Duran Duran.”

Simon Le Bon handled lead vocals on the start of the 1982 single from Duran Duran’s Rio album. Carpenter added harmonies and then sang the second verse as John Taylor held down the bottom end and contributed backing vocals. Le Bon and Carpenter joined voices on the choruses.

The crowd reacted with howls at various points of the “Hungry Like The Wolf” performance. Carpenter’s collaboration with Le Bon and Carpenter came towards the middle of her Sunday night concert.
