Rubblebucket Shares Waiting Room Cover & Adds Tour Dates

Rubblebucket hit the road starting tomorrow in Atlanta for a series of dates leading up to the group’s visit to Austin for SXSW. Today, the Vermont-based band have added dates to their Spring Tour, revealed their SXSW schedule and shared a cover of “Waiting Room” by Fugazi.

“There was a vibrant hardcore scene where i grew up in NJ in the late 90’s. Many of my friends were in bands (while I was off doing jazz), setting up DIY shows and shooting homemade movies. Fugazi was king. Last year Kal and I spent a lot of time in waiting rooms. I was listening to 13 Songs recently while decompressing from our end of year tour, and this one just crushed me,” Rubblebucket’s Alex Toth said about the decision to record a cover of “Waiting Room.”

Rubblebucket has a busy few months ahead as they tour in support of Survival Sounds, their new album on Communion Records. Next week they perform at select showcases and day parties at SXSW before continuing the tour.
