Denver-area music fans can now plan their transit to concerts with just an artist’s name, thanks to an innovative partnership between RTD and JamBase, a leading live music data provider and discovery platform. This first-of-its-kind integration allows music fans to seamlessly plan their rides to iconic venues like Ball Arena and the Paramount Theater directly through RTD’s “Plan A Trip” and Next Ride app.
“This collaboration represents RTD’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience through smart technology partnerships,” said Andrea Sucherman, RTD’s Manager of Digital Communications. “By connecting concert information with transit planning, we’re making it easier than ever for music lovers to enjoy Denver’s vibrant live music scene.”
The new feature eliminates the need to know specific venue names and addresses, streamlining the process of getting to concerts via public transportation. Users can simply enter an artist’s name or phrase like “Justin Timberlake concert” to generate detailed transit directions to the performance location. RTD’s trip planning concert update displays information for events being held at venues like the Ball Arena, Fiddler’s Green, Mission Ballroom, Paramount Theatre and more. The online tool shares trip itineraries to a venue from the customer’s starting point.
“JamBase is thrilled to partner with RTD to bring this innovative feature to life. By integrating our live music data with RTD’s transit planning technology, we’re not only helping music fans discover and enjoy live shows more easily but also promoting safer, greener transportation options. This collaboration highlights the power of data to enhance the live music experience while supporting sustainable and eco-friendly solutions,” said David Onigman, CEO of JamBase.
This partnership builds on RTD’s goal to provide innovative transit solutions while supporting JamBase’s mission of helping fans go see live music.
