Iconic rock band The Rolling Stones concluded the U.K. portion of their 2018 No Filter Tour on Tuesday night at Twickenham Stadium in London. English singer-songwriter James Bay opened for The Stones and wound up sitting-in on the tour debut of “Beast Of Burden.”
The Rolling Stones opened with “Street Fighting Man” at Twickenham and then powered through “It’s Only Rock N’ Roll (But I Like It),” “Tumbling Dice,” “Paint It Black” and a cover of Jimmy Reed’s “Ride ‘Em Down.” Mick Jagger reportedly told the crowd ahead of the latter tune, “Our first gig on this tour was in East London, but we are at home in West London. We started off here in Richmond, playing round here and we were playing mostly blues covers so we’re going to go back to where we started now. This is a song from on our last album.”

Last night’s show continued with the tour debut of “Bitch.” The Sticky Fingers gem won out in fan voting over “Sweet Virginia,” “Respectable” and “Dancing With Mr. D.” Jagger then introduced James Bay for the tour’s first “Beast Of Burden.” Mick and James dueted on the Some Girls classic, which has only been played six times since 2013.
The Rolling Stones followed the guest spot with “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and “Honky Tonk Women.” Guitarist Keith Richards then had his turn leading the band through “You Got The Silver” and “Before They Make Me Run.” From there, the group went on to conclude the 17-song main set with a smattering of classics including “Sympathy For The Devil,” “Miss You,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “Brown Sugar.” For the encore, The Stones said farewell with the typical pairing of “Gimme Shelter” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”
