The Rolling Stones’ tour of Australia and New Zealand continued on Wednesday night at Allphones Arena in Sydney, where for the second time on the run they dusted off a beloved track from their 1972 album Exile On Main St..

For each show of the tour, The Stones have provided fans with a poll featuring a handful of songs to vote on. Then, the band plays the tune that garnered the most votes. On Wednesday, the Exile track “Sweet Virginia” won out and The Rolling Stones played the song in Sydney for the first time since August 1, 2007. While Karl Denson is currently touring with The Stones, Tim Ries handles the sax work in “Sweet Virginia.”
