The Rolling Stones Postpone Amsterdam Concert After Mick Jagger Tests Positive For COVID-19

The legendary band was slated to perform at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff ArenA tonight.

Tonight’s The Rolling Stones concert in Amsterdam has been postponed due to frontman Mick Jagger testing positive for COVID-19. A new date for the band’s performance at Johan Cruijff ArenA tonight, Monday, June 13 will be announced soon.

The Rolling Stones started their 60th Anniversary Tour in Madrid on June 1. Additional stops followed in Munich on June 5 and in Liverpool on June 9.

The Rolling Stones have been forced to call off tonight’s concert in Amsterdam at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, following Mick Jagger testing positive after experiencing symptoms of COVID upon arrival at the stadium.

The Rolling Stones are deeply sorry for tonight’s postponement, but the safety of the audience, fellow musicians and the touring crew has to take priority.

The show will be rescheduled for a later date. Tickets for tonight’s show will be honored for the rescheduled date. Standby for details.

The Rolling Stones are currently expected to continue the tour this Friday, June 17 in Bern, Switzerland. The tour concludes in Solna, Sweden on July 31.
