Pink Floyd co-founding bassist Roger Waters recently revealed he was at work on a new studio album. Waters has shared a video featuring footage from the recording studio and confirmed a May 19 release date for Is This The Life We Really Want?.
Waters can be seen playing acoustic guitar alongside producer Nigel Godrich in the 30 second clip. Additional musicians appear in the video that features what’s likely music from the album, including a conductor leading a string section. Waters previously shared a pair of short videos tracked with different audio that initially revealed the title to his follow-up to 1992’s Amused To Death.
