Iconic rocker Robert Plant is gearing up for the release of a new solo album entitled Carry Fire through Nonesuch/Warner Bros. Records on October 13. Today, the Led Zeppelin frontman has unveiled the second single from the record, “Bones Of Saints.”

Robert Plant recorded the 11-song follow-up to 2014’s lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar with The Sensational Space Shifters made up of Justin Adams, John Baggott, Dave Smith and Liam “Skin” Tyson. Guests include Pretenders vocalist Chrissie Hynde as well as Albanian cellist Redi Hasa and violaist/fiddler (and recent addition to The Space Shifters) Seth Lakeman.

“It’s about intention, I respect and relish my past works but each time I feel the lure and incentive to create new work,” said Plant about in a statement when the album was announced. “I must mix old with new. Consequently the whole impetus of the band has moved on its axis somewhat, the new sound and different space giving way to exciting and dramatic landscapes of mood, melody and instrumentation.”
