Radiohead returned to O2 Arena on Monday for their third of four concerts at the London venue. Fans were treated to a big surprise towards the end of their main set when the Brits performed “Climbing Up The Walls” for the first time in seven years.
The band is currently in the midst of their first tour since 2018. Radiohead will follow tonight’s last show in London with additional four-night stands in Copenhagen and Berlin.
“Climbing Up The Walls” was the 44th different song the band has played over the course of the tour’s initial 11 shows. The track appeared on Radiohead’s landmark 1997 studio album OK Computer. Last night’s setlist featured five other songs off the LP: “Lucky,” “No Surprises,” “Let Down,” “Paranoid Android” and “Karma Police.”
Radiohead also performed six cuts off 2007’s In Rainbows last night and sprinkled in material from each of their other studio albums except for their 1993 debut record Pablo Honey. The bust out came in the penultimate slot of the band’s 18-song main set between “Let Down” and “Body Snatchers.” Monday’s encore featured performances of “Fake Plastic Trees,” “Jigsaw Falling Into Place,” “Paranoid Android,” “All I Need,” “You and Whose Army?,” “Just” and “Karma Police.”
