On September 15 Fantasy Records will issue the self-titled debut album by supergroup Prophets Of Rage. The band featuring Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, Brad Wilk, Chuck D, B-Real and DJ Lord has shared another single from the LP, the lead track “Radical Eyes.”
The newly issued song joins the previously shared singles “Unfuck The World” and “Living on the 110.” The tracks are among the 12 songs making up the Brendan O’Brien-produced Prophets Of Rage, which was recorded during month-long sessions held after the band’s 2016 Make America Rage Again Tour. The debut LP also features cover art designed by Shepard Fairey.
“The Western world has created biased structures and stereotypes,” stated Chuck D. “Opposing viewpoints and movements are seen as radical rather than diversity. ‘Radical Eyes’ is the lens everything is viewed through, any life movement in opposition is considered radicalized.”
