Pro-Shot Video: Umphrey’s McGee Shares ‘Crucial Taunt’ From Milwaukee

Umphrey’s McGee wrapped a three-night stand at The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee last Saturday. The April Fools’ Day concert was noted for a number of cover song bust outs and also featured a first set performance of their rarely played original “Crucial Taunt.”

Featuring lyrics partially first improvised by guitarist Brendan Bayliss during a “Jimmy Stewart” back on April 8, 2005, “Crucial Taunt” was first debuted by the band at Summer Camp in 2012. The performance of the original rarity on Saturday was just the second rendition since 2014 and first since August 11, 2016.
