JamBase favorites Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers made their Hangout Music Fest debut yesterday for a set that was broadcast via MTV’s webcast. This Northern California band, who will appear at our first annual JamBase Live festival in July, showed why they continue to win acclaim as one of the best up-and-coming roots bands going.

Nicki and her band, which features her husband Tim Bluhm of The Mother Hips, lead guitarist Deren Ney, ALO bassist Steve Adams, rhythm guitarist Dave Mulligan and Mike Curry on drums, were one of the first performers of the day on Saturday at the festival, which is held in Gulf Shores, AL.
