Pro-Shot Video: Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe Covers Prince’s ‘Head’ On Jam Cruise 14

Last year for Halloween Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe enlisted the help of Con Brio vocalist Ziek McCarter for a complete live performance of Prince’s album Dirty Mind in its entirety. Earlier this year McCarter and KDTU teamed up again to cover Prince aboard Jam Cruise 14 and today official video of the collaboration has been shared.

Filmed on January 9 at the Pool Deck stage, the video below features McCarter, Denson and the rest of the group performing “Head” off of Dirty Mind. The rendition lasted nearly six minutes and can be viewed in the video posted by the official Jam Cruise YouTube channel below:

Jam Cruise 15 will depart Miami aboard the Norwegian Pearl on January 20 and will make stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Grand Cayman Island before returning on January 25. The pre-book period runs through tomorrow and the lineup announcement is due Thursday, April 28. Head here to pre-book.
