Pro-Shot Video: Kamasi Washington Performs ‘Fists Of Fury’ In Minneapolis

Kamasi Washington was among the performers at Rock The Garden 2018 in Minneapolis. Event presenter and local radio station The Current shared official video footage of the saxophonist leading his band on a song from his new album Heaven And Earth.

Washington last month issued the double-LP follow-up to his 2015 triple-LP debut The Epic. The sophomore release included a surprise third disc within the packaging of Heaven And Earth — titled The Choice — that was made available digitally last week. The album features the single “Fists Of Fury” which was performed by Washington and band mates at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis during their Rock The Garden set.
