Pro-Shot Video: Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Shares ‘I Know You Rider’ From March

On March 26 Grateful Dead tribute act Joe Russo’s Almost Dead played their third and final show of a March run at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City that culminated with a ceremony in which the band members were “knighted” by venue owner and impresario Peter Shapiro. JRAD has shared the latest installment of Rad Tracks Thursday featuring the rollicking “I Know You Rider” played by the band on March 26.

Both of the band’s guitarists, Scott Metzger and Tom Hamilton, take impressive solos by the time “Rider” is done. Keyboardist Marco Benevento’s electric piano work also stands out on JRAD’s “I Know You Rider” from March 26. Tomorrow, Almost Dead returns to the road for a show in San Diego on Friday and Oakland on Saturday.
