Pro-Shot Video: Feast Your Eyes On The ‘Harry Hood’ Phish Laid Down In Nashville

By Scott Bernstein Oct 28, 2016 1:29 pm PDT

On October 19 Phish played their second of two shows at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville. After a first night that included a stellar guest appearance from Bob Weir, the second night was all about Phish. The show was highlighted by a fantastic version of “Harry Hood” and the foursome has just issued pro-shot video of it.

The quartet delivered a phenomenal take on one of their earliest tunes full of turn-on-a-dime shifts that recalled the days of 1993 and 1994. It was unlike any other “Hood,” which is a characteristic fans yearn for from old warhorses. After “Hood” had already reached top tier status the band stopped in their tracks for a rest of a few beats in which some audience members yelled “woo.” When Phish kicked back into the song they took a quick run at its climax, but not before adding one more breakdown and opportunity for fans to “woo.” Watch the “Harry Hood” from Nashville:
