Pro-Shot Video: The Disco Biscuits Work Rarities Into Colorado Run Opener
By Scott Bernstein Jun 1, 2017 • 10:30 am PDT

Jamtronica pioneers The Disco Biscuits began a series of four shows in Colorado at the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Wednesday night. The quartet fit a handful of rarities within their jam-heavy performance which can be viewed below.
The Disco Biscuits kicked off Wednesday’s show with their first version of “World Is Spinning” since March 7, 2015. From there, the foursome treated fans to a cover of Frank Zappa’s “Pygmy Twylyte” which they jammed into “Minions” and then “Voices Insane.” Bisco closed the opening set of the run with “Stone” -> “Devil’s Waltz,” a pair of songs they hadn’t performed since June 2, 2016 at the Ogden.
Last night’s second set was a huge “Kamaole Sands” sequence followed by fan favorite “Morph Dusseldorf.” The Biscuits hadn’t played “Kamaole Sands” since February 5, 2016 and they worked in inverted versions of “Confrontation,” “Little Betty Boop” and “Aquatic Ape” before finishing the song. Wednesday’s encore saw the band dust off “Crystal Ball” for the first time since June 4, 2016.
Tonight, the Disco Biscuits return to the Ogden. A free webcast is available via the band’s YouTube channel.
