Dave Matthews Band frontman Dave Matthews appeared on Monday’s episode of The Howard Stern Show. As reported, Dave not only chatted with Howard for over 90 minutes but also performed three songs including “Crash Into Me.” Professionally-shot footage of Matthews’ rendition of “Crash Into Me” was posted to The Stern Show’s YouTube channel.

Howard made multiple requests for Dave to perform the single from 1996’s Crash. Matthews told Stern it was too early in the morning to sing that particular song but eventually relented. Watch Dave Matthews’ version of “Crash Into Me” from Monday’s The Howard Stern Show:

Matthews also played “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)” from the recently released DMB album Come Tomorrow and covered Procol Harum’s “A Whiter Shade Of Pale” during his Stern Show debut.
