Pro-Shot Full Set Video: The Disco Biscuits Bust Out ‘High Speed Racer’ At Camp Bisco

By Andy Kahn Jul 13, 2018 8:23 am PDT

On Thursday, The Disco Biscuits performed their first of six sets scheduled for this year’s installment of the Camp Bisco music festival. The hosts of the event that runs through Saturday at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania treated festival-goers to a bust out of song last played by tDB in 2009.

Opening night’s single 90-minute set kicked off with the band’s 18th offering of the rarity “Feeling Twisted,” which was last played at Camp Bisco 2016. The foursome transitioned to “Spaga” and then went back to finish “Feeling Twisted.” Next up was just the 12th live performance of “High Speed Racer” and the first since the Disco Biscuits show on April 23, 2009, a gap of 365 shows according to PT Bisco.

The first tDB offering of “Crystal Ball” of 2018 went unfinished before segueing into “House Dog Party Favor.” Guitarist Jon Gutwillig, bassist Marc Brownstein, keyboardist Aron Magner and drummer Allen Aucoin covered Pink Floyd’s “Run Like Hell” to close out their initial Camp Bisco 2018 set.
