The Pretenders Announce 2023 Headline Tour Dates In Intimate Venues

The Pretenders detailed 2023 tour dates around their upcoming album, Relentless. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band led by Chrissie Hynde will hit intimate venues on both coasts and points in between on a rare headline trek.

Pretenders kick off their headline dates on August 16 at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom while in the midst of their tour supporting Guns 'N Roses. The band will then hit Third Man Records’ Blue Room in Nashville, Asbury Park’s The Stone Pony and The Atlantis In Washington D.C. to close out August.

The Pretenders’ next headline date takes place in Detroit at Shelter on September 5 followed by a play in Minneapolis on September 7. Next, a previously announced slot at Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival, prefaces a show at Los Angeles’ Regent Theater on October 7.

A concert at Pappy + Harriet’s outdoor stage in Pioneertown, California follows on October 4. The last headline date Pretenders have on the books so far is at Bimbo’s 365 Club in San Francisco on October 6.

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 21 at 10 a.m. local time.
