Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival Announces First Wave Of 2016 Lineup

After a successful inaugural installment in 2015, the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will return to The Park at Harlinsdale in Franklin, Tennessee September 24 – 25. Today, the festival has announced the first wave of this September’s lineup with additional artists to be revealed soon.
Once again, Pilgrimage organizers went the diverse route in putting together this year’s lineup. Beck, Kacey Musgraves, Violent Femmes, The Arcs, CAKE and City & Colour are among the acts set to play Pilgrimage ’16. Additional artists announced today include Shakey Graves, Better Than Ezra, Margo Prince, Langhorne Slim & The Law, Blind Pilot and Big Sam’s Funky Nation. Pilgrimage organizers also announced that the festival will feature “Pilgri-mashups” where one-of-a-kind pairings of musicians collaborate with one another on stage. The festival will also host the kid-friendly Little Pilgrim’s Stage and have enlisted some of the region’s top food and drink vendors as well as local artists and artisans to create “an all-encompassing festival experience.”
