Pigeons Playing Ping Pong shared pro-shot video featuring their debut performance of “The Town,” a new original. “The Town” was filmed during PPPP’s first set at The UC Theatre in Berkeley, California on March 12.
The Baltimore-based funk quartet has been unveiling plenty of new material over the course of their Perspective Tour 2022. Frontman Greg Ormont sings the catchy refrain “Can’t stop, ’cause there ain’t no sign” throughout the earwormy “The Road,” which features a powerful solo from guitarist Jeremy Schon.
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong was joined by ALO guitarist Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz in Berkeley for original “Posideon” and a cover of Talking Heads’ “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody).” Lebo’s guest spots were broken up by the debut of “The Road” at the end of the quartet’s first set.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will release their new studio album Perspective on April 8. Next up for the band is a two-night stand at Boston’s House Of Blues on April 1 and 2.
