Pigeons Playing Ping Pong Release Single Off Upcoming Live Album

Baltimore electro-funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will release a new live album entitled The Great Outdoors Jam on Friday, February 17. Today, the band has shared our first taste of the LP which features highlights from Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s headlining performance at The Great Outdoors Jam Festival in Mount Dora, Florida in July of 2016.

The first single off The Great Outdoors Jam is “Poseidon,” an “uplifting oceananic odyssey”. PPPP were joined by saxophonist Chris Sgammato of Displace for the 13 minute opus. Stream “Posideon” off Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s The Great Outdoors Jam live album:

The Great Outdoors Jam is available for pre-order via the band’s Kickstarter campaign to fund their new studio album, Pizazz, due this fall. A portion of their Kickstarter donations will go to Conscious Alliance, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment. The campaign concludes this Thursday, February 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
