Pigeons Playing Ping Pong released a new single, “Move Like That,” featuring The String Cheese Incident percussionist Jason Hann. The track appears on the Baltimore-based band’s upcoming album, Perspective, set for release on April 8.
PPPP previewed the guest-filled Perspective last fall with the single “Indiglo” featuring keyboards from ALO’s Zach Gill. The single “Elephante” arrived in February along with a music video. The quartet now offer “Move Like That” with SCI’s Jason Hann on percussion.
Pigeons guitarist and frontman Greg Ormont detailed the new tune and Hann collaboration:
Since the live music industry had shut down while we were recording ‘Perspective,’ we were granted a rare opportunity to collaborate with some seriously awesome musicians who would’ve otherwise been busy touring. Enter longtime friend and badass percussionist Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident. Jason added a whole new dimension and texture to “Move Like That,” which is about two people seeing each other from across the room and catching fire. The seduction grabs hold and never lets go. There’s nothing left to do but let the sparks fly.
