Pigeons Playing Ping Pong shared the new single “Elephante” along with a wacky music video for the song. “Elephante” is the first taste of Perspective, a new studio album the quartet will release independently on April 8.

Featuring the Here Come the Mummies Horns, “Elephante” has yet to be performed live by the band. The Here Come The Mummies Horns previously contributed to Pigeons Playing Ping Pong’s 2020 single “King Kong.”

“As soon as I heard the first demo of ‘Elephante,’ I was overwhelmed with excitement and just let it rip vocally,” noted PPPP frontman Greg Ormont. “Musically, it knocks you off your chair. Lyrically, it’s about living life to the fullest. As for the music video, we just let our imaginations run wild on this one.”

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong tapped Don Cherel to direct the “Elephante” video. The clip was filmed at The Enchanted Forest within Clark’s Elioak Farm in Ellicott City, Maryland. Each member of the band donned costumes straight out of the Renaissance period.
