Colorado-based funk band The Motet began a run of Northeast concerts with a performance at The Warehouse in Fairfield, Connecticut on Wednesday night. The band focused on material from their most recent album, Totem, and also worked Parliament covers and a take on the Prince-penned “I Feel For You” into the show. Tonight, the band will collaborate with Totem co-producer Eric Krasno at the Highline Ballroom in New York City with Reed Mathis & Electric Beethoven set to open.
