KIMOCK hit the road to begin a November tour in celebration of the recently released Satellite City studio album on Thursday night at the Highline Ballroom in New York City. Guitarist Steve Kimock was joined by his son John Kimock on drums as well as multi-instrumentalist Leslie Mendelson and bassist Andy Hess. The group focused on material from the new LP including the title track, “Variation,” “Careless Love,” “Mother’s Song” and a cover of “Waiting For A Miracle.” KIMOCK also threw in Steve oldies “Ice Cream” and “You’re The One.” The latter featured a jam on Curtis Mayfield’s “Pusherman.” Photographer Suzy Perler was on hand to capture the action:
