Furthur’s visit to Mexico for the Paradise Waits destination event continued last night at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya on Wednesday following Monday’s opening night and Tuesday’s performance. Wednesday night’s sets saw Furthur dig into their repertoire for a number of songs the Grateful Dead shelved by the end of their touring days including “Mason’s Children,” “Lost Sailor” and “Reuben & Cerise.” A full performance of the “That’s It For The Other One” song suite served as the meat of the closing stanza, while the popular “Scarlet > Fire” pairing was broken up by the aforementioned “Reuben & Cerise.” Phil, Bobby and the gang closed out the evening with a “Box Of Rain” encore.
