Phoebe Bridgers Performs Rarity ‘Waiting Room’ At Red Rocks

Phoebe Bridgers dusted off her old song “Waiting Room” last night during a concert held at Red Rocks in Colorado. Bridgers last performed “Waiting Room” publicly in 2018 as per Setlist.FM.

The singer-songwriter discussed “Waiting Room” in a 2020 interview with NPR. “I wrote it when I was, like, 16,” Bridgers said. “And people find it every once in a while and tag me in it or whatever. And I think I’m just – one, it’s super sincere, and I meant everything. But it’s so emotionally raw, and I’m so pining for someone.”

“Waiting Room” came at the end of Bridgers’ concert at the iconic Morrison, Colorado venue. Phoebe went heavy on material from her most recent studio album, 2020’s Punisher last night at Red Rocks. She also looked to 2017’s Stranger In The Alps for such songs as “Motion Sickness,” “Smoke Signals,” “Funeral” and “Scott Street.”
