Phoebe Bridgers Releases ‘Chinese Satellite (Live from Sound City)’ Single

Phoebe Bridgers shared the single “Chinese Satellite (Live from Sound City).” The track arrives as part of Secretly Canadian’s 25th anniversary SC25 Singles series and benefits non-profit organization New Hope For Families which provides aid for the homeless in Bloomington, Indiana where SC was founded.

“Chinese Satellite” originally appears on Bridgers’ Grammy-nominated 2020 album Punisher. The Secretly Canadian charitable release of “Chinese Satellite (Live from Sound City)” saw the singer-songwriter — who founded the Secretly Group label Saddest Factory Records — offering an acoustic arrangement of the Punisher tune tracked live at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles.
