On June 18, 1994 Phish brought their historic summer tour to the UIC Pavilion in Chicago for a concert that ranks among the best of a year that would see them graduate to arenas and amphitheaters. Previously unseen video from the memorable night in the Windy City has surfaced nearly 25 years to the day after the show with the promise of more on the way.
The fan-shot footage shared so far starts with the “Sample In A Jar” that ended Phish’s first of two sets at their UIC Pavilion debut. Next, the video includes a portion of the cover of Frank Zappa’s “Peaches En Regalia” that kicked off the second set. The video was filmed by Jeff S. and was synched with high-quality audio and posted on YouTube by David Lightman5. A note accompanying the clip notes the taper did capture the rest of the concert, including the truly epic “David Bowie” containing a “Mind Left Body Jam.”
Watch Phish perform “Sample In A Jar” and a portion of “Peaches En Regalia” below:

Set 1: Sweet Adeline, Wilson > Dog Faced Boy [1] Rift, AC/DC Bag > Maze, The Mango Song > Down with Disease, It's Ice, Dog Faced Boy, Divided Sky, Sample in a Jar
Set 2: Peaches en Regalia > David Bowie -> Mind Left Body Jam -> David Bowie, Horn > McGrupp and the Watchful Hosemasters > Tweezer > Lifeboy > You Enjoy Myself [2], Chalk Dust Torture
Encore: Bouncing Around the Room > Tweezer Reprise
This performance was on Danny Bonaduce's radio show on WLUP 97.9 FM before Phish's concert that evening at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, IL. Sweet Adeline was preceded by a eight second rendition of I Woke Up in Love and followed by a nine second version of Point Me in the Direction of Albuquerque. Both I Woke Up and Point Me were sung to the tune of Back in my Hometown and were a bit of a Phish joke on Bonaduce as they were both songs from The Partridge Family. Dog Faced Boy was performed acoustic. This performance might be incomplete as the interview after Dog Faced Boy is cut.
