Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, Anders Osborne and Luther Dickinson offered up Grateful Dead covers for the Phil Lesh led Terrapin TV. The series streams weekly in support of the Terrapin Crossroads Staff Appreciation Fund.

All three songs performed on Episode 3 of Terrapin TV originally appear on the Grateful Dead’s iconic 1970 album, American Beauty. After an introduction from Phil, guitarist and singer-songwriter Anders Osborne kicks things off with a solo acoustic rendition of “Friend Of The Devil.” Next up, Anders’ North Mississippi Osborne band mate guitarist Luther Dickinson delivers “Ripple.” To close out the session, Elliott Peck leads Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band — Grahame Lesh (guitar, vocals), Phil Lesh (bass, vocals), Alex Koford (guitar, vocals) Ross James (lead guitar) and Jason Crosby (piano) — through a gorgeous “Brokedown Palace.”
