By Scott Bernstein Dec 4, 2017 • 9:17 am PST

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh was a regular visitor to Red Rocks with his various projects including Phil Lesh & Friends and Furthur between 1999 and 2013 after 20 visits with the Dead between 1978 and 1987. However, the Morrison, Colorado venue hasn’t gotten its Phil ever since. That will change in May.
Phil Lesh will team with The Terrapin Family Band as well as Colorado’s own Leftover Salmon to play Red Rocks on May 5, 2018. Lesh last performed at the venue in September 2013 with Furthur. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, December 8 at 10 a.m. MT. A very limited number of Salmon Fan Club tickets will be available Tuesday, December 5 at 10 a.m. MT.
