Phil Lesh put together an all-star Phil Lesh & Friends lineup to headline the 2014 LOCKN’ festival in Arrington, Virginia that saw the Grateful Dead bassist joined by guitarists Warren Haynes and John Scofield, drummer Joe Russo and keyboardist John Medeski. Relix shared professionally-shot video featuring the quintet’s cover of “Dear Mr. Fantasy” by Traffic from Phil & Friends’ first of two nights at the event.
Haynes led the group through “Dear Mr. Fantasy” on September 5, 2014 at the second annual LOCKN’. Both Warren and John Scofield took solos during the cover of a song Traffic originally released on their debut studio album, Mr. Fantasy, in 1967.
