Pete Townshend & Alfie Boe Perform The Who’s ‘Love Reign O’er Me’ On ‘Tonight Show’

Pete Townshend recently began a series of Classic Quadrophenia concerts celebrating The Who’s 1973 rock opera LP Quadrophenia. The guitarist was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a performance of “Love Reign O’er Me” featuring Townshend’s current tour mate, vocalist Alfie Boe.

Townshend and Boe were in NYC for a pair of weekend shows at the Metropolitan Opera House. The two shared vocals on The Tonight Show while backed by members of an orchestra and the program’s house band The Roots.
