Tonight (Friday, October 13), the New York Yankees take on the Houston Astros in the first game of the American League Championship Series. Friday night’s game will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 after which the cable network will air the television debut of Pearl Jam‘s Let’s Play Two concert film/documentary.

Why is a Pearl Jam concert film airing on Fox Sports 1? Let’s Play Two not only documents Pearl Jam’s two August ’16 performances at Wrigley Field but also the Cubs’ 2016 championship season. “In my films and photographs, I love to explore the relationship between a band, their fans and the location,” Let’s Play Two director Danny Clinch said. “When it happens that the main characters of your film are Pearl Jam, the Chicago Cubs, their fans, and Wrigley Field during a historic moment, you know it’s going to be epic. Our instincts were correct to follow the story and it took us to a historic Game 7 of the World Series ending a 108 year drought for the Cubs. I have learned to welcome the unexpected and it always pays off if you’re ready for it.”

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder recently sat down for a chat with sportscaster Joe Buck about the film and more, watch:
