Paul Simon, Neil Young & Others To Appear At Willie Nelson Tribute

Willie Nelson will be the next recipient of The Library of Congress’s Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Nelson will be honored with a tribute concert featuring an impressive lineup on November 18 at Washington, D.C.’s DAR Constitution Hall.
Musical legends Paul Simon and Neil Young are among the artists expected to perform at the event with the latter set to be backed by Promise Of The Real featuring Willie’s sons. Other acts on the bill include Rosanne Cash, Jamey Johnson, Alison Krauss, Raul Malo, Edie Brickell, Leon Bridges, Ana Gabriel and Buckwheat Zydeco.
Willie Nelson is expected to be on hand at the event, which will be filmed for a PBS broadcast set to premiere Friday, January 15 at 9 p.m. ET.
