Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival Announces PoWoW! 2018 Lineup & New Additions

The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will return to Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Florida March 1 – 4 following two successful outings in 2016 and 2017. Organizers have just revealed the lineup for the PoWoW! musical collaboration that will take place at the festival as well as more lineup additions.
Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg will lead PoWoW! along with The Roots. Look for song selections to span the worlds of hip-hop, funk and soul. The Queen of Soul, Chaka Khan is expected to appear as part of the set as are Joey Bada$$, Big Gigantic’s Dominic Lalli, New Orleans’ own Trombone Shorty and jazz innovator Cory Henry. In true PoWoW! style, expect additional surprise guests.

Okeechobee ’18 will feature Arcade Fire, Bassnectar, Travis Scott, The Flaming Lips, Slightly Stoopid, STS9, Big Gigantic, Thievery Corporation, Lettuce and dozens more. In addition to the music, festivalgoers can expect diverse food, wild art, yoga and healing workshops, swimming and dancing. HeadCount has partnered with the festival to organize Participation Row at the event, which will feature nearly a dozen local nonprofits. Additional artists announced today include Lil Dicky, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Funky Meters and Smino.
