Official Video: Pimps Of Joytime Unveil ‘Dance Cardia’ Ahead Of Red Rocks Debut

On Thursday, Brooklyn-based funk outfit mark a major milestone in their career when they perform at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado for the first time. The band has released a lighthearted new music video for the track “Dance Cardia” ahead of their Red Rocks gig which will be headlined by Galactic and also features BoomBox.
The “Dance Cardia” video was directed by Jean Shepherd and filmed in the band’s hometown of Brooklyn. Frontman Brian J plays “The Hustler” and takes on his childhood foil “The People’s Champ” in a riveting game of Jenga. “Dance Cardia” was released on the band’s most recent studio album Jukestone Paradise and features contributions from Rubblebucket.

“Colorado has been real good to us over the past 6 years. There seems to be a genuine appreciation for what we do out here,” said Brian J in a press release announcing the video. “It’s a privilege to be invited to play the amazing Red Rocks Amphitheater and we have our fans to thank for it.”
