Official Video: Midnight North Cover ‘Love The One You’re With’ At Terrapin Crossroads

On Sunday, Terrapin Crossroads hosted the first “Big Bass Bash” that saw Phish bassist Mike Gordon join Phil Lesh & Friends during a day filled with music in the venue’s outdoor area. Also on the “Big Bass Bash” bill was Midnight North who have shared official video of a cover they performed Sunday afternoon.

Joined by special guest Jay Lane on drums, guitarists Grahame Lesh and Alex Jordan, vocalist Elliott Peck and bassist Connor O’Sullivan executed a cover of Stephen Stills’ “Love The One You’re With” during their set at the venue owned by the elder Lesh. The song was recorded for the 1971 Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young live album 4 Way Street, here’s Midnight North’s live take:

Midnight North will perform on July 29 at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, New York as part of the lineup for the Brooklyn Is CSNY – A Night Celebrating The Music Of Crosby, Still, Nash & Young event. Jay Lane will once again be on board as special guest, as will guitarists Tom Hamilton and Scott Metzger. The special event hosted by Relix will also see a performance by Doobie Decibel System.
