Earlier this year, nugs.net announced the addition of on-demand video to its subscription service. The latest VOD offerings available as part of nugs.net’s streaming app subscription (iOS, Android, Apple TV) are two Bob Weir And Phil Lesh shows as well as 10 Dead & Company performances.

Video of Bob Weir & Phil Lesh’s complete duo performances from March 3, 2018 in New York City and March 11, 2018 in Chicago are now available through nugs.net’s apps. Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio sat-in for the entire second set and encore on March 3. nugs.net subscribers can also stream video of 10 full Dead & Company concerts spanning 2016 – 2018. The 2016 shows include stops at Alpine Valley from July 10, Fenway Park from July 15 and Toyota Amphitheatre from July 29. Dead & Company’s Fall 2017 visits to Boston (November 19), Washington D.C. (November 21) and Austin (December 2) can also be viewed as well as 2018 performances in Mexico (February 17), Orlando (February 27), Noblesville (June 6) and George (June 29).

“Live music is by definition experiential. For many fans, myself included, live performances offer a dynamic and often more compelling perspective on a band than an album might,” nugs.net Founder & CEO Brad Serling said in a statement. “In recent years streaming video has greatly helped us enhance our mission of extending the live music experience beyond the venue. Growing our video on demand collection within the nugs.net family of apps with these Grateful Dead related concerts is a return to form for thousands of our users and for me personally. As you might expect…the music plays the band.”

More Grateful Dead related videos are expected to be added to the service soon. Watch Dead & Company’s performance of “Playing In The Band” from George, Washington on June 29 as a preview of the full show available on nugs.net’s app:
