“Live music is by definition experiential. For many fans, myself included, live performances offer a dynamic and often more compelling perspective on a band than an album might,” Founder & CEO Brad Serling said in a statement. “In recent years streaming video has greatly helped us enhance our mission of extending the live music experience beyond the venue. Growing our video on demand collection within the family of apps with these Grateful Dead related concerts is a return to form for thousands of our users and for me personally. As you might expect…the music plays the band.”
