Norah Jones Covers ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ For New York Restoration Project
Norah Jones released video of the classic, “I’ll Be Seeing You.” Jones recorded the number in support of the New York Restoration Project and as a bonus video taken from one of her recent livestream request sessions.
“I’ll Be Seeing You” was originally written by Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal in 1938. Such musical luminaries as Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby have recorded the song. In the notes section of the video, Norah revealed that “I’ll Be Seeing You” was one of the first songs she could sing and play together and that she hadn’t performed it in over 20 years.
