Nicki Bluhm And Gramblers First Live Van Sessions

Yesterday, California roots-rockers Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers brought fans inside their famed vehicles for a live Van Sessions webcast. The group worked through eight covers they had previously performed for their video series as well as a take on one of their own tunes and a Mother Hips song.

The Gramblers loaded in the van for versions of The Beatles’s “Here Comes The Sun,” Steve Miller Band’s “Take The Money And Run,” Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers’s “Islands In The Stream,” George Michael’s “Faith,” Patsy Cline’s “She’s Got You,” Funkadelic’s “Can You Get To That,” Linda Ronstadt’s “You’re No Good” and Hall & Oates’s “I Can’t Go For That.” The session finished with Nicki and the band delivering their own “Hey Stranger” and The Mother Hips’s “Stoned Up The Road.”
