NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers Schedule Phish Night 2026

Phish Night 2026 will be held when the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on January 8, at Xfinity Mobile Arena. A portion of Flyers Phish Night ticket sales will go to the band’s WaterWheel Foundation.

Phish tribute band Rift will perform pre-game and post-game as part of the evening’s festivities. Ticket packages include a limited-edition Flyers x Phish co-branded t-shirt incorporating the team’s mascot Gritty with the band’s iconic logo. Philadelphia Flyers Phish Night 2026 ticket packages are on sale now.

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio grew up Flyers fan. He spoke to fellow hockey-playing guitarist Cory Wong about his fandom and experience playing with the Flyers on a recent episode of the Wong Notes podcast.

Anastasio, who has worn Flyers jerseys while performing, told Wong:

“I played hockey hockey hockey all growing up. My family was Flyers fans. I saw the Broad Street Bullies when I was 12 years old, the year they won the cup, with my dad.

“We got to know some of the guys there, particularly Joe Watson, Flyers legend Joe Watson. So this must have been 1999 or something like that. They asked me if I wanted to play on the old time Flyers team when they played the old time Rangers at Madison Square Garden before the actual Flyers Rangers game, which I did.

“I was the only one on that bench that wasn’t one of the actual old time Flyers, but I’ve got the uniform on and I got to get dressed in a locker room with these guys and stand in there. It was the thrill of a lifetime. None of them knew, they thought my name was ‘Ray,’ which is still funny. I’m sitting on the bench like, ‘Hey, Ray, get in there,’ and they throw you over the boards.”
