Newport Folk Festival Details 2021 Events & Ticketing Information

The Newport Folk Festival returns in July albeit in slightly different form. A pair of separately ticketed, limited-capacity 2021 Folk On events will be held at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island July 23 – 25 and July 26 – 28.

The decision to spread the beloved festival over two weekends comes in response to modified capacities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Newport Folk will bring surprise guests, storytelling and never before seen collaborations to Newport this summer,” reads a note on the festival’s website. “Our goal is to keep our ecosystem going until we can gather our entire Folk Family next summer.”
