Newport Folk Festival Announces Courtney Barnett For 2018 Lineup

The 2018 Newport Folk Festival will return to Fort Adams Park in Newport, Rhode Island on July 27 – 29. Organizers have started to announce the performers appearing at the long-running event, with Australian guitarist Courtney Barnett leading this year’s lineup.

Barnett previously appeared in 2015 at the Newport Folk Festival, which was first held in July 1959. The 2018 edition of the annual event is sold-out. Expect organizers to continue to roll out additional performers on this year’s lineup in the coming days and weeks.
