Newport Folk Festival Adds The Wood Brothers To 2018 Lineup

Organizers of the Newport Folk Festival continue to unveil the lineup for this year’s event, which will take place at Fort Adams State Park July 27 – 29. The latest addition is the return of The Wood Brothers.

The Wood Brothers made their Newport Folk debut in 2006 shortly after Oliver Wood and Chris Wood decided to make a go of the band. Oliver, Chris and Jano Rix will play on the Friday of this year’s festival. Other recent additions are Sidi Toure and Glorietta featuring Matthew Logan Vasquez, Noah Gundersen, Kelsey Wilson, David Ramirez, Adrian Quesada and Jason Robert Blum.
