Newport Folk Festival 2018 Adds Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit And More

One of the nation’s most prestigious festivals, the Newport Folk Festival, will take place at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island between July 27 and 29. A rolling lineup announcement has continued over the past few weeks and today includes confirmation Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit will play the 2018 installment of Newport Folk.

The guitarist and his longtime band are scheduled to perform on Friday, July 27. Other acts recently added to the 2018 Newport Folk Festival lineup include JD McPherson, Caamp, The Lone Bellow and Charlie Parr. Check out the lineup as it currently stands below. Look for additional Newport Folk ’18 artists to be announced in the weeks to come.
