New White Denim Studio Album Due October 29

One of the most anticipated new releases of the fall around these parts is Corsicana Lemonade, the new album from Austin rockers White Denim. Today, the band has officially announced details of the LP, which is due on October 29.

Corsicana Lemonade features two tracks produced by Wilco front man Jeff Tweedy, who also mixed the LP. White Denim recorded the tracks with Tweedy at Wilco’s famed Chicago Loft. The rest of the album was laid down in an Austin studio. All in all, the album will contain 10 tracks. “We wheeled-in a bunch of crazy ’50s gear and played from noon until 2 a.m. every day until the album was done,” recalls White Denim’s James Petralli in a statement. “We played live together, doing takes as a whole. Whatever sounded best was what we stuck with.” Here’s the cover art:
