New Festival Alert: Many Rivers To Cross Social Justice Music Arts Festival

On October 1 and 2, social justice organization Sankofa will host the inaugural “Many Rivers To Cross” Social Justice Music and Arts Festival. The event will tatke place just outside of Atlanta in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia (just outside of Atlanta) and is said to be the largest music and arts festival dedicated to social justice.
Carlos Santana and Dave Matthews are among the artists set to perform at the event which also features musicians/celebrities Jesse Williams, John Legend, Common, Estelle, Michelle Alexander, Dr. Cornel West, Danny Glover, comedian/actor Chris Rock, Public Enemy and more. Many Rivers To Cross will bring together thought-leaders, activists and communities around today’s most pressing human rights issues.
Tickets for Many Rivers To Cross” go on sale Friday, July 29.
